FillFaster offers two main ways to structure your forms. The best choice depends on how you intend to use them.

Summary:

  • Template Forms are reusable and essential for automations.

  • Single-Use Forms are for specific, one-time use with manual handling.

Template Form

A template form is a document with blank areas for the recipient data/dynamic data like prices and can be used repeatedly. Template forms can also be used to collect submissions from people when you don’t have all the information about them with one static link.

When to use:

  • For repetitive forms where the basic structure stays the same but specific details (like prices, dates, names) change each time.

  • Collecting information from multiple people, such as consent forms and general employment contracts.

Examples:

  • Invoices, rental applications, and some types of contracts.

  • Any scenario where automation is required.

Key Point:

  • Template forms are crucial for building automations. If you plan to automate processes, you should use a template form.

Single-Use Form

This is a regular form you create for a specific one-time purpose. It includes all the information inside and just needs the recipient’s signature.

When to use them: Single-use forms shine for documents where most of the information is pre-set:

  • Customized contracts: Specific terms and details tailored to an individual or project.
  • Reports: Present findings, summaries, or other pre-written information.
  • Agreements: Specific legal documents with pre-defined clauses.

Single-Use Form

A single-use form is created for a specific one-time purpose. It includes all the information inside and just needs the recipient’s signature. Single-use forms are typically used for:

  • Customized contracts: Specific terms and details tailored to an individual or project.

  • Reports: Present findings, summaries, or other pre-written information.

  • Agreements: Specific legal documents with pre-defined clauses.

When to use:

  • For documents where most of the information is pre-set.

  • When dealing with a specific scenario and recipient.

Note: Single-use forms are manually handled from the dashboard.
